SSL Client for non MS systems?
SSL Client for non MS systems?
Reading the, somewhat, sparse documentation on the subject, I have concluded that SSL client only exists for MS systems. This makes me sad, to say the least.
Are there any plans to support other systems too, and if that is the case... when can we expect it to happen?
I am especially interested in Mac OS x, iOS, Android and Linux.

Hello.
Unfortunately as you have already discovered we only have an SSL client for the Windows/MS platform. There are several RFE's (request for enhancements) to add support for more platforms but no decision has been taken at the time i'm writing this if/when to develop support for additional platforms.
RFE ID's for future references:

This feature would make simplier the deployment of certificate-based VPNs, when the certificate expiration dates cannot be managed easily.

We need an SSL client for MacOS now when the PPTP support is dropped. Clavister makes it impossible to implement SSL based VPN in a mixed environment. There are situations where IKE based VPN's is not preferred. SSL VPN has the advantage of using port 443 that's usually open everywhere.

Thank you all for the feedback, even though i do not have any update or estimate if/when SSL clients will be developed for other platforms i have taken your comments and added them into the relevant developer projects.
Having customer feedback and thoughts about a particular feature is always welcome and can help in determining priorities.

Do you got any update on this? Is there any plans to develop/buy a SSL-client software for MacOS?

Hello.
Short update, we are currently working on implementing an SSL-VPN client for MAC. A rough release estimate would be end of the year but may be subject to change (could be earlier... could be later).
Best regards
