This FAQ applies to:
  • Clavister Security Gateway
Question:
Why does "fwctl --rtlog" close after a reconfigure of the Security Gateway?

Answer:
When a Security Gateway is reconfigured it closes all netcon-connections, and that is why the --rtlog is closed.

This is solved in UNIX by doing something similar to the following:
  • while /bin/true; do fwctl -rtlog gw-test >> rtlog-gw-test; done
In Windows 2000 and XP you can do:
  • for /L %x in () do fwctl -rtlog gw-test >> rtlog-gw-test
