MS Active Directory Integration for transparent user auth

Post by blazarov » 07 Mar 2012, 15:39

Hi,

Most of the competitive products support transparent IP address to username/user group mapping from Microsoft Active Directory. They all do it with the help of a small agent installed on the DC parsing the AD security logs for logon/logoff events.
This is really nice feature that most of our clients are looking for. It would really accelerate sales to have it in the SG's.

Are there any future plans for this feature to be implemented?

Seems like they have implemented that in the new 10.10 release, not tested it yet so know idea how good it works. But might be worth taking a look at.
