"Disabling IPsec tunnel..." warning when deploying.

Post by Peter » 29 Apr 2008, 08:01

This FAQ applies to:
  • Clavister CorePlus and cOS Core.
Question:
When i deploy my configuration i get several warnings about disabling Ipsec tunnel(s), what is the reason for this?
Cfg Warning (S1325) section `IPSEC`:
- Disabling IPsec tunnel VPN-Stockholm
Answer:
The reason for this can be several things.
  • 1. The maximum VPN tunnels in the license has been exceeded.
    2. The unit is running very low on memory.
    3. The Advanced Settings->Ipsec->IpsecMaxTunnels has been modified, and a to low value has been defined.
3.1. It is also possible that this value is to low even when using the default auto value. This can occur if you have a large amount of tunnels and networks/IP's running in those tunnels. A manual value can be configured, maximum value is 40 000, so you could start with a value between 10 000 - 20 000.
