I would recommend upgrading to latest InControl version to see if the problem persists. If it still persists and it only happens when using the public Wi-Fi, it sounds like it could be something that is interfering with the traffic or maybe that the connection between the InControl client and server...

A new version is now released that contains a fix for the SSL VPN problem. The new version is 12.00.21 and is available for download on www.clavister.com (requires login).
